LAFC picked up a convincing 4–0 win against the Seattle Sounders at BMO Stadium, putting together one of their sharpest performances of the season so far. After being handed a 5–2 loss by Seattle earlier in the year, this felt like a chance to respond and LAFC took full advantage.

The match started with control and purpose from LAFC. Cengiz Ünder opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a clean strike from just outside the box.
LAFC looked comfortable and in rhythm. In the 51st minute, Jeremy Ebobisse made it 2–0. After a loose ball was picked up in midfield, Eduard Atuesta quickly moved it forward to Timothy Tillman, who played a well-weighted pass in behind. Ebobisse stayed composed and tucked the shot past Frei with a first-time finish.
Denis Bouanga added LAFC’s third in the 80th minute. After receiving a switch on the left wing, he cut inside on his right foot and bent the shot into the far corner. Frei was left frozen. The final goal came from Yaw Yeboah, who reacted first to a rebound in the box and put it away from close range in the 86th minute.

Seattle rotated several starters coming into the match, and it showed. They struggled with spacing and couldn’t handle LAFC’s quick combinations in the final third. Their attack was quiet, and LAFC’s back line had little to deal with.
This was LAFC’s first clean sheet in league play since April and another step forward in terms of structure, energy, and consistency. With momentum building and attacking depth starting to click, this result puts LAFC in a good position heading into a busy stretch of the season.
